Combat Modeling II

Course Description

Combat Modeling II builds on the basic principles and foundation taught in Fundamentals of Combat Modeling. Units will focus on how to, specifically, model the entities and effects found in combat simulators, for different resolutions, and for different purposes. Focus will be on defining the elements of a combat model from the perspective of the scenario – entities, battlefield/environment, sensors, combat effects, and others. Additional topics in effects based operations, human behavior modeling, distributed simulation and cloud based simulation will be addressed.
