Intellectual Property (IP) Boot Camp

Course Description

Intellectual Property is an organization’s most valuable, but at times, least protected asset. Georgia Tech Professional Education has created the Intellectual Property (IP) Boot Camp to provide engineers, inventors, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in protecting their IP, background on the core areas of IP law — copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, and patents. This course will explore the scope of these rights and infringement, along with reviewing the relationship between the four types of IP, as well as the appropriate balance between legal protections, technological protections, and a robust public domain. There are no prerequisites for this course, and a scientific background is not required.
