Course Description

Teaches the techniques for Basic Life Saving. The participant will perform a series of emergency first aid and life saving scenarios to learn and practice the use of basic safety equipment to prevent disease transmission in the treatment of common first aid emergencies. These include heart attacks, drowning, burns, electrocution, and other common emergencies.

  • Body Substance Isolation
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Use of Barrier Devices

Victim Scenarios

  • Responsive Victims
  • Unresponsive Victims
  • Augmented Treatment (PPV and BVM)
  • Multiple Victims
