Chris Bailey is Associate Chief of the Radar Systems Division of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI). He has 15 years of experience with active phased-array design, analysis and modeling, and phased-array architecture trades. His current research efforts include digital beamforming, overlapped subarray architectures, and low-cost / low power arrays. He authored the radar antenna chapter for the Principles of Modern Radar textbook, and regularly teaches phased array material in Georgia Tech professional short courses. Chris Bailey earned his M.S.E.E from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
