Is your student interested in creating art and animals with robotics? We are excited to offer STEAM summer programs at the Georgia Tech-Savannah campus for children ages 6 to 12. This summer, students will work in teams to design and build their own robotics masterpieces. They will learn to program Hummingbird robots to make works of art and use the EarSketch coding program to create a soundtrack for their zoo. At the end of each week, individual students and student teams will showcase their robots for parent presentations.
Summer programs will take place the following weeks:
June 4-8 June 11-15 June 25-29
We are in the process of adding more weeks. Please check back soon for additional opportunities!
Each week costs $150 per child. Payment is due at registration. Please visit our FAQ page for answers to specific questions. Programs run daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and every Friday at 1:30 will feature a student showcase. (Please join us if you can!) Students will need to bring a non-perishable lunch.
We extend this exciting opportunity to all students throughout Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty County Schools. Please visit the FAQ page if you have any questions or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
