Master’s Class Act: AT&T and Accenture - Global companies with strong local presence support newest online master’s program

Two of the biggest brands in digital technology, AT&T and Accenture, have each announced a $1 million contribution to support Georgia Tech’s new online master’s degree in analytics (OMS Analytics). The contributions will support growth of the program, which began in August with nearly 300 students and is expected to scale over time.

Georgia Tech Marks 50 Years of Economic Development Education

Georgia Tech Launches State’s First Professional Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health

Georgia Tech Creates First Online MS in Analytics Degree for Less Than $10,000

ATLANTA - January 07, 2017 - The Georgia Institute of Technology has announced a new online master of science degree that will be offered at a quarter of the cost of its on-campus program. The Institute’s top 10-ranked program in analytics will be delivered in collaboration with edX, the leading nonprofit MOOC provider.

GTPE Collaborates with Georgia Department of Economic Development

SAVANNAH - June 10, 2016 - Georgia Tech Professional Education is collaborating with the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) to offer an online entry-level course for veterans transitioning from the military to corporate life. To ensure Georgia service members are provided employment opportunities and assistance in their transition, GDEcD is funding the cost of the Veterans Education Training and Transition (VET2) 101 program for all active duty service members transitioning from Ft. Stewart and Ft. Benning (up to 7,000).

GTPE Welcomes New Associate Dean of Learning Systems

ATLANTA - May 9, 2016 Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE) has appointed Dr. Yakut Gazi as associate dean of learning systems to lead the division’s initiatives in creating and delivering world-class content across a variety of mediums, including online, blended and in-person platforms, to learners across the globe. Gazi comes with a wealth of international experience in instructional design and technology, having worked at higher education institutions in the United States, Qatar, Turkey and Spain since 1993.
