Online Master of Science in Cybersecurity

Georgia Tech’s Online Master of Science in Cybersecurity (OMS Cybersecurity) is an interdisciplinary degree that helps you gain a deep understanding of the policies, principles, and practical techniques for securing cyberspace. The part-time program offers three distinct specialization tracks: information security, policy, and cyber-physical systems. Designed for working professionals, OMS Cybersecurity features the same world-class instruction as our on-campus program and is grounded in real-world threats and the latest advances in the field.

Who is this for? Working professionals with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or electrical engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher

How long does it take? Most students complete it in two to three years, but you have six years to meet the degree requirements

What is the format? 100% online with live, weekly faculty office hours and a dedicated team of academic advisors

Dream role? Internet of Things (IoT) Solutions Architect, Network Security Engineer, Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst, Data Protection Officer, Cyber Risk Analyst

Who is this for? Working professionals with broad knowledge in their field who want to develop deep expertise in select cybersecurity topics

How long does it take? Certificates include one required course and four electives, and must be completed within six years
 

What is the format? Most certificate courses are offered in person
