CON 090-1: Contracting Overview of the FAR

Course Description

FAR Fundamentals is a four-week resident foundational course for new hires as well as career professionals in the federal acquisition field that provides a total immersion into the Federal Acquisition Regulation (Parts 1-53) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). CON 090 is a limited lecture, research-intensive, exercised-based curriculum. Participants analyze contracting business scenarios developed through research of the FAR and its supplements. Students should be prepared to dedicate time each evening for homework.

NOTE: If you are interested in taking all four courses (CON 090-1 thru CON 090-4) as one bundled course offering, please contact course administrator Donna Bertrand.
