Admission to the PMASE program is primarily based on an applicant’s professional experience, prior education and capabilities the student can bring to the classroom.
Please be sure to fulfill the following requirements and gather the items below before beginning the application process:
A bachelor’s degree in math, hard science (chemistry, physics, etc.) or engineering from an accredited college or university.
Five years of professional work experience (which may include internships, technically-related summer and/or part-time positions, as well as participation in a cooperative education program.)
A completed application along with application fee.
Three descriptive letters of recommendation. We expect to receive letters from the applicant’s past and current supervisors who can describe in writing why the individual should be considered, in terms of skills and capabilities.
A required essay/statement of purpose (no more than one page). The essay/statement of purpose should include: why the applicant should be considered, what experience the applicant can bring to the program and what the applicant wants to take away from the program to enhance their professional career.
A resume (including work and educational experience).
An official transcript sent from each school from which you have received credit toward a degree.
A satisfactory TOEFL score for international students.
