Mr. Andrew Howard is the Director of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) Cyber Technology and Information Security Laboratory (CTISL). He leads research teams focused on building sophisticated information security programs, insider threat prevention capabilities, and novel information systems for secure collaboration. Mr. Howard also serves as the Program Manager for DoD and National Intelligence Community efforts with a primary focus in software development, networking, and data protection.
Previously he developed mandatory access control frameworks used throughout the National Intelligence Community. He also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in their threat and vulnerability advisory practice.
Howard received his Bachelor of Science in computer science, Master of Science in information security, and an MBA from Georgia Tech. He holds the CISSP and CISM certifications.
