Carole Bennett is Director of Program Development and Marketing in the Supply Chain & Logistics Institute (SCL), a unit within the Industrial and Systems Engineering School at Georgia Tech. Her current responsibilities include development and marketing of the executive education programs, industry-event coordination, and membership-management for the Logistics Innovation Network and the Supply Chain Executive Forum, SCL's industry-outreach programs.
Ms. Bennett's areas of specialty include marketing and project management. She began her career at Georgia Tech in 1988 in the Department of Continuing Education as the Director of Marketing. For 12 years she was responsible for the management of the marketing, graphic design, and web staffs. While in Continuing Education she marketed many diverse programs including computing, logistics, management, physics, and defense-related professional development courses. In 2000, Ms. Bennett came to work in the ISyE department.
Ms. Bennett is a graduate of Georgia State University where she earned a BA in Communication (cum laude) in 1988 and an MBA in 2008. Ms. Bennett is a member of the following associations: Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), Direct Marketing Association (DMA) of Atlanta, and The Association of Strategic Marketing (ASM).
