David Aalfs, Ph.D.

Experience

David Aalfs, principal research engineer in Georgia Tech Research Institute's Sensors and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory, has extensive experience in the development of adaptive digital beamforming algorithms and simulation tools. He researches radar-signal processing algorithms and adaptive arrays and has participated in adaptive digital beamforming design studies for numerous phased-array antenna development programs for the Department of Defense. He is the author numerous papers and reports on adaptive digital beamforming and array signal processing. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Clemson University.
