Dr. George Cokkinides, associate professor of electrical engineering, is an expert in power system simulation, power system grounding and protection, measurement instrumentation, power electronics applications, and power system harmonics. He has published numerous technical papers, holds two patents as co-inventor, and has made significant contributions to the EPRI grounding programs. Dr. Cokkinides is a member of the IEEE/PES and Sigma Xi.
