Georgia Tech’s High School Math program enables you to enjoy the challenge of a college class without leaving your high school! Georgia Tech offers advanced mathematics students, in high schools across Georgia, the opportunity to take online classes while still in high school. Classes are held on campus, taught to Georgia Tech students, while being delivered via live video or internet feed to high school students in 51 classrooms across Georgia.
In Fall 2016, students who have completed AP Calculus BC may apply to take:
• Math 1554: Linear Algebra (Fall)
• Math 2551: Multivariable Calculus (Spring)
Subsequently, students who have completed those courses may apply to take:
• Math 2803: Special Topics in Math (Number Theory and Cryptography in Fall 2015)
• Math 3012: Applied Combinatorics (Spring)
You must have these credentials to be considered for the program:
• 3.5 GPA
• 3.5 Math GPA
• 600 Math score on SAT or 27 Math ACT
• 4 on AP Calculus BC exam
