Women’s Innovation Lab Final Project

Course Description

The Women’s Innovation Lab final project is designed to ensure that the participants understand topics from the Women’s Innovation Lab course such as minimum viable products, the business model canvas, and the ecosystem map. The final project must be submitted to the instructor for approval of the program certificate and it will be a great reference when looking to pitch your business idea.  

Course Content

Final Project – 20 Hours Capstone Project 

10 customer interviews  

1 MVP / Low-fidelity prototype (+ cost) (MVP = Minimum Viable Product)  

1 BMC (Business Model Canvas) 

1 Ecosystem Map (with key customer roles identified) 

1 TAM/SAM (Total Available Market / Serviceable Available Market) 

1 Fundraising strategy  

1 Five-Minute Pitch

This course is designed for anyone interested in earning a program certificate in Women’s Innovation Lab. Potential candidates must be enrolled in the Women’s Innovation Lab and meet all course requirements in order to complete a project and earn a certificate.
