Who Can Submit a Proposal?

All current students and alumni of the OMS Analytics program are invited to submit proposals. It’s your opportunity to share your knowledge, research, and innovative ideas with our vibrant learning community.
 

What We're Looking For

Our committee is seeking proposals for engaging and informative presentations, panel discussions, lightning talks, and hands-on workshops on a variety of topics related to data science and analytics, including but not limited to:

• Data engineering
• AI, machine learning, and NLP
• Data visualization and communication
• Industry applications and case studies
• Research insights
• Career pathways
   

Submission Guidelines

• Proposal format: Your proposal should include a title, an abstract (150-200 words), and a brief bio of the presenter(s).
• Session type: Indicate whether your proposal is for a presentation, panel discussion, lightning talk, or hands-on workshop.
• Relevance to theme: Clearly explain how your proposal aligns with the conference theme "OMSA and Beyond."
• Submission portal: Proposals must be submitted through the Conference Submission Portal.
