The Professional Master’s in Occupational Safety and Health (PMOSH) is tailored to working professionals who are ready to boost their career and step into a leadership role within the OSH field. 

This advanced degree brings together the best of Georgia Tech’s vast resources, industry knowledge, and teaching excellence in a flexible hybrid format. 

The hybrid program features course content in a combination of online lectures, brief on-campus sessions, individual and collaborative projects, and industry-relevant case studies. It is designed to thoroughly prepare graduates for the realities of managing complex safety and health programs. 

 

The 10-course curriculum spans two years and covers: 

  • Fundamentals of occupational safety and health, from industrial hygiene to hazardous materials management 
  • Leading-edge technologies within the OSH field 
  • Communication and leadership concepts 
  • Business and financial dynamics of OSH 

Graduates of the program will be able to: 

  • Identify gaps in safety and health programs
