Basic Electromagnetic Warfare Modeling

• DEF 3501P - Basic Radar Concepts or DEF 3502P: Principles of Modern Radar or an equivalent

• DEF 2501P - Basic RF Electronic Warfare Concepts or equivalent experience with electronic warfare

Required (student must provide)

• For virtual offerings, learners will be responsible for providing their own MATLAB and Simulink software, version R2020a or higher. Learners without this software may still attend the course, but will not be able to run the models or participate in the practical exercises. Minimum components required are the following:
  • MATLAB
  • Simulink
  • Signal Processing Toolbox
  • DSP System Toolbox

Provided (student will receive)

• Learners will receive copies of the presentation slides in both a student notebook and a CD.  The CD also contains all the software models used throughout the course, some useful tools, and other reference material used during the course.
