As home to the first symposium for project managers, Georgia Tech has built its project management training on the technical strategies and relationship management skills needed to plan, orchestrate, and control complex projects, while also providing a pathway for PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
The critical thinking and theories around communication and stakeholder management have been the most applicable to my day-to-day work, and have greatly assisted in defining projects scope and controlling costs across several projects. Being able to more thoroughly communicate and relate to the stakeholders to provide transparency is a consistent goal of mine, and one that produces benefits throughout the organization.
