HAZWOPER Site Operations: Field Work

Course Description

HAZWOPER Site Operations: Lecture focuses on learning the requirements. In HAZWOPER Site Operations: Field Work, put that knowledge into practice through full dress-out drills and corresponding debriefings outside in the field. Moving beyond the classroom, the lab prepares cleanup and emergency response workers to conduct their work safely and gain real-world familiarization with equipment, techniques, and procedures to reduce harmful exposures on the worksite. Earn the OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) Certification upon completing both HAZWOPER Site Operations: Lecture and HAZWOPER Site Operations: Field Work.

Before an employee, supervisor, or manager working at a hazardous waste site can engage in hazardous waste operations or spill response, they must complete this required training that is set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) standard.
