ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training

Course Description

ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor training not only teaches you the knowledge and skills required to internally audit your own management system, but also teaches you how to conduct second party (Supplier) and third party (External and Certification) audits. As a lead auditor, you will learn how to manage your organization’s audit program; put an audit team together; lead and opening and closing meeting; write audit reports; and generally manage the audit process for a successful outcome.

For this course, you are required to bring a laptop that can access Wi-Fi and Chrome browser. It is recommended students take QUAL:1106 Internal Quality Auditing prior to attending this course.

The online pre-course, QUAL-1207 Pre-Course for ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training, is included with your registration and must be completed prior to attending the classroom training.

This course is taught in a classroom but includes an online pre-course to be completed before the classroom session begins.

Prerequisites

Recommended:

  • QUAL-1106 ISO 9001:2015 Internal Quality Auditing

Required: 

  • Executive Introduction to ISO 9001:2015 (QUAL 1207P)
  • *The online pre-course must be completed, with a score of 70% or higher, prior to the first day of the course.

Materials

Required: 

  • A laptop that can connect to campus wi-fi. Individuals with government-issued laptops may need to work with their IT department so files can be accessed during the course.

Provided: 

  • A digital check-out copy of the standard ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems – Requirements will be provided for use with the pre-course and during the course.
  • Course notebook
  • Check-out copies of the ISO 19011:2018 standard will be provided during the course. Learners may also purchase the standard (to keep) from the ANSI webstore or the ASQ website. Purchase of the standard is not a requirement
