Please Note: This certificate is a cohort model, and all courses must be taken in sequence. Once you have added Leading Well: Relating to Others (MNGT PE01P) to your cart, all other required courses will also be added during the checkout process. The Professional Leadership Certificate is focused on assisting emerging leaders to accelerate their careers by differentiating their leadership skills and business acumen through education and self discovery. The certificate will generate high-value returns and practical results for organizations while preparing leaders for today's ever-changing business environments. You will gain a broader understanding of core business operations while enhancing critical leadership skills to navigate business environments driven by innovation and global markets. Required courses are segmented into three focused areas of learning: leading from within, leading others, and leading organizations.

Certificate Requirements

Certificates must be completed within 6 years; courses completed more than 6 years ago may not be applied toward certificate.

This certificate does not require an application.

How it works

Your path to achievement is easy! Most certificate courses are offered in classroom locations around the U.S. You can also inquire about training at your location.

Cost

Course load determines the cost of a certificate program.
Calculate your total by identifying the courses needed and tallying individual course fees. Some courses offer discounts for course bundling.

Registration

Select a certificate program, review the requirements, and determine your timeline for completion.
Add courses to your shopping cart for purchase as you are ready to take them, or as a group if desired.
Proceed to checkout to complete your registration. We accept multiple forms of payment including a third-party credit cardholder, purchase order, a private loan, and VA benefits for certain programs.

Completion

Certificates must be completed within six years.
After successful completion of most individual courses, a Certificate of Course Completion will be sent.
After successful completion of all required courses, request a transcript and program certificate audit.

Upon verification, GTPE will email your transcript and mail your Certificate of Program Completion. Some programs host a certificate award ceremony during the final course.

Who Should Attend

This certificate is designed for emerging leaders with at least three years of business experience, in a wide cross section of industries including those active in business, education, government, nonprofit, and community based organizations. The program is ideal for early- or middle-stage career professionals who are or will be responsible for executing organizational strategy with an integrated view of the organization. Potential learners have also excelled as an individual contributor and may also have been identified as an emerging leader with prospects for increased leadership responsibilities.
